Adam Milstein: Philanthropist and Activist

In 1948, Hillel Milshtein, at the age of 19, one year after the State of Israel was founded, immigrated to the State of Israel from Argentina. In 1950, he married Eva, a homemaker in Haifa. Hillel fought in Israel’s Independence War. He worked as a real estate developer. In 1952, Adam Milstein was born in Haifa.


In 1974, Adam Milstein married Gila Elgrably in Haifa. He served in the Israel Defense Forces and was assigned to Ariel Sharon’s Army Division, during the Yom Kippur War.


In 1978, he graduated from the Israel Institute of Technology Techno. While Milstein was in college, he joined his father in his father’s expanding real estate business. Mr. Milstein and his wife, Gila immigrated to the United States with their two young daughters. Their third daughter was born in the United States. In 1983, Milstein attended the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, receiving his Master of Business Administration.


Adam Milstein, having worked with his father in commercial real estate started working as a sales agent. Adam Milstein joined the firm of Hager Pacific Properties where he is a managing partner with overseeing the company’s financing, disposition, and property management. Hager Pacific owns and manages $2 billion of properties across the country.


As Milstein’s real estate reputation has skyrocketed, he is known as one of the most active and recognizable philanthropists in the Jewish community. Milstein was named as one of the 200 Most Influential “Do-Gooders” in the World. He is part of a list of leading philanthropists and social entrepreneurs on social media, by London-based publication, Richtopia. He is a prominent investor, and a leader in many prominent Jewish organizations, including co-founder and Chairman of the Israeli-American Council (IAC), StandWithUs, and the Israel on Campus Coalition, Hasbara Fellowships, and AIPAC.


Adam Milstein’s purpose in life is focused on The Adam and Gila Milstein Family Foundation. Its mission is built on strengthening the Jewish people and their homeland, the State of Israel with the goal of fundraising to support programs in the areas of Jewish education, Jewish continuity, and Pro-Israel advocacy.
